Velvet sheen immediately apparent with a lustrous deep red hue. The nose displays hints of blackcurrant, leather and cedar. 5 to 10 years cellaring will be worth the effort to enable smoky and sweet timber characteristics to develop. This wine will over deliver in time and is superbly balanced. Greg Swift.

The wine has mossy, cigar box and dark fruit overtones with a long chalky finish. A fine example of the characters of the Margaret River. Excellent construction with the complexity of tannins and acidity masterfully orchestrated. Well done indeed. Age 5-10 years. Greg Swift.
