You know this is a big wine from the intense aromas of redcurrants, cherry, cedary cigar box along with a mintyness. At 15% ABV, it is medium bodied with chocolate, red fruit flavours with soft tannins, all in a complex balanced mouthfeel that finishes long and full. Enjoy now but will benefit from 10+ years careful cellaring. Stephen Read.
Barossa Grenache keeps getting better. The wine has a deep and vigorous red hue with a floral nose dominated by rose petals and then restrained by typical Grenache earthiness. Save the best till last. It is lively on the palate, well constructed with balanced velvety tannins. Delicate and intricate with a long smooth finish. Greg Swift.
