Made with premium Riverina fruit this wine is clear and bright pale straw colour with hints of green. Aromas of melon, citrus and soft sweet oak add to the complexity of the nose. There is a greenness on the palate with melon, citrus and sweet oak. Astringent acid is well balanced with the fruit, softened with creamy malo. Great length to the palate drink now of over the next 2 years. Stephen Read.
A vibrant pale straw colour with some fresh green hues. The nose is delicate but clear notes of citrus, lime and melon permeate through. On the palate the qualities of a young Clare Valley Riesling shine through. This wine is fruit driven with balanced acidity. Great drinking, don’t wait. Greg Swift.
Watervale, Clare Valley
Interesting subtle nose with citrus, green apple, grapefruit and herbaceous tones. Enticing, clear delicate salmon and light peach in colour, with the mouthfeel surprisingly full. Well balanced fruit and acidity with a slight oiliness and finishing long and clean. True to style, a good example of what dry rose has to offer. Serve chilled and enjoy now. Stephen Read.
Peach in colour followed by a bouquet of fresh fruits dominated by raspberry and red apple.
A flintiness is immediately apparent with an excellent peach and lemony finish. Delicately balanced and earthy through the mid palate. An irresistible accompaniment to summer tapas tasting plates. Greg Swift.
Clear, dense and deep red in colour. With hints of mint, cedar oak and sweet blackcurrant fruits evident on the nose. The palate is fruit driven and complex, with tight drying tannins adding to the complexity. The finish is well balanced with good length to the palate. Overall a pleasant wine which will improve for a further 3 to 5 years if well looked after. Stephen Read.
Deep purple, dense and vibrant colour greets the eyes in the glass. Upon nosing you are greeted with aromas of blackcurrant, sweet blackberry, and vanilla oak with some hints of mint adding to the complexity. When tasting you welcomed with soft tannins balanced with good astringency. Spice is evident at the front with juicy black fruits across the palate. Medium bodied with a good finish and length. This will age well for 5+ years to get the best out of this wine. A good example of the GSM style with a RRP of $25. Stephen Read.
Grenache Shiraz Mataro
This Handpicked single vineyard Yarra Valley wine shows its class from the start. Pale straw, clean and star bright it glows in the glass asking to be drunk. Tight and subtle at first on the nose, with peach, mineral tones, hints of oak and some nuttiness. As the wine opens up you get the full complex array of different aromas including some yeasty tones from lees. Light clean and refreshing, extremely well balanced between the tart acid, fruit and good use of malo. Stone fruit and citrus flavours are made more interesting by the clear mineral overtones. Finishing up with good length and flavours that just stay. This is perfect example of a well-made cool climate chardonnay and will improve with 5+ years in the cellar. Stephen Read.
