Cool climate Pinot Noir from the Tumbarumba region is becoming as well-known as those from Tasmania and Central Otago as a distinct new world style. Full of black cherries, spice, along with hints of sweet vanilla and some smokiness adds to the complexity of the nose. The palate follows through with soft tannins, integrated sweet fruit and well-balanced acidity. Vibrant in colour and vibrant in texture and flavour. Stephen Read.
