The bouquet has lifted aromas of blackcurrant cassis, plums, a hint of spice, vanillin oak and a hint of mint. The palate is full bodied with complex layers of sweet fruit balanced by clean acids and tannin, the mouthfeel is supple and smooth with a long finish. Can be enjoyed now but will benefit from 5+ years in the cellar. Stephen Read
Deep red in colour with plum and ripe red cherries on the nose. The palate is super soft and welcoming. Some white pepper and spice with a touch of mint. An uncomplicated consumer friendly Shiraz with typical McLaren Vale elegance. It’s been well put together with oak handling and controlled ferment masks the alcohol. Easy to like just now.
